At Main Street Cafe we pride ourselves in using the freshest ingredients to create homestyle cooking with flair.
Everything is prepared fresh daily: our soups made from scratch, signature sandwiches, such as The Flaming Rooster, and old time favorites like the Reuben and Monte Cristo.
We also feature homemade desserts, just like mom’s. The Peter pan Pie – a heavenly peanut butter chiffon pie, coconut cream and chocolate cream pies (which always fly out the door), and everyone’s favorite a pineapple gooey cake.
Feel free to call ahead and make a request. We also cater private parties on and off site. Sell whole desserts with notice and have “Frozen Soup to Go”
Our fan base grows with every bite, and we hope to see you when you visit Mountain View.

Fantastic menu, can’t wait to try a few of the items on it.
I visited your restaurant last week and was so surprised by the wonderful food cooked up by Chef Danny, the soup was by far the best I’ve ever had, the sandwich was scrumpious, how I wish you would put big signs in your windows stating that a real chef is doing your cooking and not some backwoods yoyo. He came out and met us and treated us like royalty, how I wish I lived in Mtn. View just to enjoy his wonderful food. And I must say Pooka is the nicest, friendliest server I have ever had, wonderful wonderful people. You are so blest to have such people in your employ.And I have to say even though Steven was not our server he was right there to help in any way possible. You go girl!! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks for a delicious addition to the Folk Festival last weekend! We loved your food so much that we ate there THREE times in 24 hours, and brought friends. Additionally, loved the jar of candied jalapenos that I bought. yum…. The service from all was the best, and we’ll be back next time we’re in Mtnview.

What a memorable lunch!!! The Main Street Burger (with the thinly sliced celery….what a great addition!) was divine along side the Tomato Basil Soup. And please do not tell my mother, but the chocolate pie was one of the best I ever eaten. And I’ve eaten A LOT of chocolate pie. Kudos to the entire staff!!!
we eat here several times a year, great food and better pies. fantastic place to enjoy a meal, a sanwich, or like i said, PIE.
